Talking with Dad is like old times, until he disappears … In the space of 5 minutes, Dad cycles through various personalities: mischievous, organized, entertaining — and threatening.

In the final moment when his mind disappears, I am left to wonder, “What’s inside, where has he gone, is he thinking, or is this nothingness?”
